Class of 2026 guard Mason Williams, the son of Jackson State head basketball coach Mo Willians has an official offer from Jackson State.
The younger Willians, a 6’1” guard out of Jackson Academy (MS) in his sophomore season averaged 9.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.6 steals in 21.0 minutes per contest. In a key game this season against then-undefeated Madison-Ridgeland Academy, Williams scored a career-high 27 points in Jackson Academy’s 69-47 defeat of The Raiders went 36-1 this season en route to defeating Jackson Prep 54-53 to win the MAIS Class 6A state title.
Mason’s older brother Mike, also plays on the team, led the team in scoring at 18.8 points per contest and is the 22nd ranked shooting guard in the country.
